The support is stable. There is frame abrasion at the extreme edges and scattered surface cracking. There is a small line of surface abrasion with a few corresponding specks of paint loss below the plate at lower right. Under ultraviolet light, there is a spot of inpainting along the upper edge of the fish, a few spots in its tail, and small areas and spots of inpainting surrounding the fish and plate and scattered in the background.
