The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This watercolor on paper is in stable condition overall. The paper does not present tears or paper losses. Exposure to humidity over time has caused mild planar distortions throughout. Poor handling has contributed to multiple creases throughout with the most predominant one at the center horizontally from left to right edges. There is a mild 1/2" abrasion to the paper around the verso perimeter edges from tape removal. Visually, the paper is clean and does not exhibit signs of discoloration or toning from light exposure. Due to exposure to water, there is a stain at the right center edge, 10" down from the top edge and approximately 3/4" wide by 2" long. Otherwise, the media appears well preserved.
