The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The painting is in beautiful condition. The canvas is lined with Beva-371 as an adhesive. The paint layer is cleaned and lightly varnished. It seems that the only retouches are in the white pigment at the top of the falls, which address two tiny vertical cracks. The texture and freshness of the paint is evident throughout the picture. The work should be hung as is.
