The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Lined. The tacking edges are covered with tape. Minor frame abrasion along the extreme edges. Minor scattered surface cracking and a small area of surface abrasion in the sky at right. Under ultraviolet light, inpainting scattered along the extreme edges and two areas in the sky, slightly visible in natural light. Other small spots and dots of inpainting scattered elsewhere and an uneven, discolored varnish.
