The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The ragboard is hinged to the backing board at the upper edge, and the paperboard has shifted slightly in tone. Very minor wear is to the corner-tips and a few pinpoint nicks are to the upper edge. A pinpoint accretion is above the figure's proper left thigh and another is near the left center edge. Visible under ultraviolet light, two faint drip accretions are above center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
