The canvas is relined. The paint layer is stable and under a clear varnish that has yellowed with age. With surface soiling and frame abrasion to the extreme edges. Under natural light, touch-ups to address the aforementioned frame abrasion are visible. Additional touch-ups throughout are visible. Under ultraviolet light, the canvas presents with a green varnish which obscures further inspection.
