The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With the typical minor imperfections, in the making, including scattered tiny kiln specks throughout; scattered minor scratches, rubbing and wear to the surface, consistent with age and handling; a small triangular section at the rim has been replaced with fill (approx. 1¹⁄₂ in. wide, 1¹⁄₂ in. high), the associated overpaint slightly yellowed at the exterior and fairly yellowed and flaked at the interior; a crack from the lower end of the restored section extending down to the shoulder, approx. 4 in. along its length; the rim with a few small and very flat chips.
