A related pembroke breakfast table possibly supplied to Harewood House, Yorkshire, by Thomas Chippendale (d. 1779) was sold by the Earl of Harewood at Christie's, London, 1 April, 1976, lot 45. Another pembroke table, bearing the label of Richard and William Gomm of Clerkenwell Close, is illustrated in C. Gilbert, Pictorial Dictionary of Marked London Furniture 1700-1840, Leeds, 1996, p. 226, figs. 401 and 402.
