The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each with minor surface soiling and frame abrasion, as to be expected with age. Each with undulation to the sheet. Each with minor foxing visible on the reverse. Additional condition as noted below. Please note the frame is sold as is.
(a) Napoli da Posilipo -- The paper and framing with some signs of water staining and damage. With spots of discoloration, most notably in the sky along upper edge. With a vertical crease running its height at center.
(b) Napoli dal Carmine -- The paper with a 1⁄2 in. tear at the lower edge extending into the margin. With some surface disturbances and scuffing. With a few scattered spots of discoloration, most notably in the margin at lower left and lower right.
