The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The surface is stable and the canvas is unlined. There is a layer of varnish present. Under UV light inspection there are lines of old and newer retouching to address paint separation in the leaves and background, mostly at the upper edge, left, and center of the canva. There are some lines of old and newer retouching to address paint separation in a few of the blossoms with red pigments and an area of purple in the ground at left.
