The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The pile generally low to knot-heads throughout with visible spot foundation in areas, an approx. 1 ft. wide worn area running through the carpet lengthwise with generally lower pile as visible in illustration. Scattered re-piling throughout, some scattered re-stitched areas. Scattered re-weaves throughout, including, but not limited to upper end, guard borders and part of border, several re-weaves of different sizes in the field and several re-weaves to the lower end border (approx. 50% re-woven). Scattered re-weaves to the side borders. Upper end of field and around the central axis, some cobbled holes and slits. Sides re-selvedged, now fraying in areas. As mentioned, both end guard borders are re-woven and now lacking guard stripes at lower end; ends secured with a chain stitch. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt, extensive restorations, supple handle, iconic design, vibrant colors.
