The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in sound condition. With scattered nicks, marks, and scratches, consistent with age and use. The gilt, red and black painted decoration with lifting, flaking, chipping and some losses revealing bare wood. The lower tier considerably sun faded. The central lacquer panel with craquelure, some larger cracks and some small losses. With some lifting including to the left-hand side, and some areas of restoration and overpainting. With rubbing and fading, primarily to the center of table, consistent with use.
