The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The silvering with the typical tiny losses scattered throughout, commensurate with age, as well as a few small areas of more prominent desilvering, including some to the lower half of the large tree at the right, and some above the spray of trees in the background at the left. Some retouching to the painting. Each side of the mirror with the typical scattered superficial scratches, commensurate with handling, and the typical dust or debris around the edges, mostly obscured by the frame. The mirror plate not unframed for inspection.

The frame: overall in good order, structurally sound and ready to wire and hang, with a fair amount of wear, rubbing and loss to the gilding. Overall good appearance.
