The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
With the typical minor imperfections, in the making, including scattered tiny kiln specks throughout and some popped bubbles at the interior; scattered minor scratches, rubbing and wear to the surface, consistent with age and handling; some fritting to the glaze around the rims; one small repaired chip to the edge of the cover; the jar body with several large repaired breaks, and with some tiny losses along one of the repair lines at the shoulder.
