The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The frame with scattered age and construction cracks as expected. Possibly reduced in size. Old worm damage to the underside (now inactive). The carving with scattered minor abrasions and losses commensurate with age. The front seat rail slightly bowed but stable. Redecorated, and now with rubbing and losses, revealing bare wood in areas. The Savonnerie carpet covering cut and re-stitched, with some small re-weaves and surface dirt, but generally well-preserved for age. Overall sturdy, presents well, ready to place.
