The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Both tables are structurally sound and sturdy. With general wear and scattered minor scratches, nicks, chips, and losses throughout commensurate with age and use. This is most notable to the lower legs and feet as to be expected. Each table also with some old inactive worm holes. The elements of giltwood and gilt-gesso tops with some losses revealing gesso, bole, and bare wood in small scattered areas throughout. Gilding has been previously refreshed. The veneers with some minor fraying and lifting in places, and with some tiny losses and typical well-disguised repairs primarily concentrated on the sides. One with old repaired break to front left leg. Some scattered age cracks throughout both, also as is expected. Overall these tables present well and are very decorative and ready to use.
