The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sturdy and structurally sound. With general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, and scuffs consistent with age and use. Both chairs with various old repaired breaks and subsequent infill including to the joins along the crestrails, where the arms attach to the back, one to lower section of back left leg, and scattered throughout the pierced fretwork. The flame-stitch upholstered drop in seats overall in good appearance. One has a small hole to center, about 3/4 inch diameter. Some threads loose throughout both, some spots worn and threadbare, and signs of previous repairs.
