The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in very good condition and ready to hang. The frames with typical light nicks, faint surface scratches and light abrasions. With some rubbing to the gilt decoration, revealing bole and bare wood in areas, presents well overall and decoratively distressed. One frame with a hairline crack through the shell, not readily visible and stable; the same mirror with two visible cracks to the oval frame. The other frame with a small repair to the upper left leaf tip. The mirror plates with minor foxing and some scattered areas with loss to the silvering, primarily around the outer edge of the mirror and mostly obscured by frame. With some very faint surface scratches, not extensive.
