The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas has been relined. Overall with frame abrasion to the extreme edges. Some surface soiling as to be expected with age. Overall with craquelure. With scattered areas of restoration throughout visible under natural light, most notably to the dog's body and face. Examined under ultraviolet light. Previously noted restorations visible under ultraviolet light, most notably a 31⁄2 in. repaired diagonal crack extending from the the dog's proper left leg. Please note the frame is sold as is.
