拍品专文

The arms are those of Stewart, probably for Alexander Stewart Esq. (1699-1781), of Mount Stewart, co. Down and Ballylawn Castle, co. Donegal. He was M.P. for Londonderry and married Mary, daughter and heir of Sir Robert Cowan Kt., Governor of Bombay. His eldest son Robert was created 1st Marquess of Londonderry in 1816.

The later crest is that of Stewart for either Robert, 2nd Marquess of Londonderry (1769-1822) or his half-brother Charles, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry (1778-1854).
