The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Intact as preserved. A vertical crack visible through the proper-right eye down to the clavicles. A large area of staining (perhaps bitumen) through the forehead down along the nose and around the proper-left eye. A small area of fill to the nose above the proper-right nostril. Areas of pigment loss throughout. Some incrustation and staining throughout. Chips to the edges. With overall wear, abrasions and losses. With some minute surface cracks. The wood slightly warped. Some gilding remaining to pendant. An area of bitumen to the reverse. A white sticker to reverse reading “A150.”
