Lot Essay

Lee Radziwill is an American socialite and former actress best known as the younger sister of late First Lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Following unsuccessful acting attempts, Radziwill also worked as an interior design consultant and a public relations executive for Giorgio Armani. Her second husband was Polish Prince Stanislaw Radziwill, whose royal status increased her already alluring public persona. Warhol featured Radziwill on the cover of his March 1975 issue of Interview magazine, for which these polaroids are a study.
