Lot Essay

Saturday, September 29, 1984
Talked to Keith and Jean Michel. Wanted Jean Michel to come over and paint, but he was giving his mother a birthday party so I went to meet him and met his mother. She’s a nice-looking lady, a little matronly, but she looked good. He sort of resents her, though – he said she’s been in and out of mental hospitals and he felt neglected. But he doesn’t have to be ashamed of her, she was really nice and everything.
