The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
It is in our opinion that the property is in good overall condition for its age.
Cel sheet:
- There are minor, occasional, and expected light scratches and soiling.
- There is tape on each corner.
- The top right corner has a minor, small crease, approximately 1 cm long.
- There is occasional minor pigment loss on the verso, which is not visible from the front.
- There is a small area of chips on the bottom edge, beneath Satoshi, as can be seen in the second online illustration.
Background sheet:
- There is some creasing and cockling on the right section.
- There is occasional paper peeling and adhering paint, possibly transferred from the cel.
- There are two tape marks and light foxing on the top edge of the verso.
Timing sheet:
- There is some foxing and staining, and the bottom left corner has paper loss.
- There is a faint horizontal crease.
