The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The curtain with some scattered minor areas of fading and staining. A few minor areas of separation at seams and shattering to ground. The bottom edge with some minor spots of wear including tears and fraying (not extensive). Brass curtain rings along the top. The lining with a few small scattered stains.

The cream-ground panels very fragile. One panel of cream-ground cotton with scattered stains and extensive shattering to ground including large tears, rips and losses, particularly to corners; associated fraying at tears and edges. The other with some small scattered stains, minor discoloration and fraying to edges as expected.
