With a 'hazy' patina throughout; the enamels and gilding with a moderate amount of rubbing and scratches throughout, including loss to almost to the edge just below the top; several areas restuck and with associated touch-up to the colors and gilding, including one upper corner, several leaf tips around the base of the pedestal, one scroll foot and one corner of the triangular base; the three feet below the scrolls cut down and restored as flat circular feet (the form is recorded as having hoof feet beneath the scrolls); a few chips throughout, including around the intrinsic hole at the top and to the lower edge of one scroll foot; the pedestal and base each with printed and inscribed Ann and Gordon Getty Collection inventory label.
