The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Presenting well overall, with the typical kiln imperfections in the making, including an even craquelure throughout, tiny glaze pops and a few small glaze gaps, mainly at the rim; a large rim restoration going from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock, through the upper carp; a large rim chip (approx. 3/4 in. x 1/4 in.) near 4 o'clock; an area of the lustre bands on the reverse slightly lighter yellow and lacking lustre; minor scratches and light scuffs throughout, most prominently at the underside, commensurate with age and use; with printed and inscribed Ann and Gordon Getty Collection inventory label.
