Both with spot hammered surfaces, the salt cellar circular and raised on a cylindrical foot, applied with silver, copper, and Japanese gold crawfish, crabs, swimming fish, and shells, the pepper caster of baluster form and similarly applied with leaves and butterflies and engraved with trailing foliage, marked on undersides, the salt cellar numbered 3667-1819, 106, the pepper caster numbered 4922-1839, 84
