The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Overall with some fading as expected with age. The wool ground with areas of spot staining (possibly bleach) and scattered small holes. The embroidery with some very minor rubbing and wear. The edging and corded fringe pulled away from the base in areas and with some fraying and rubbing to the silk threads.
