The Chelsea Examples-- 27⁄8 in. (7.4 cm.) wide, 27⁄8 in. (7.4 cm.) high; one box with a small firing crack to the rim with an associated T-shaped hairline crack emanating from it; both lids with repairs and overpaint to the handles and losses to the leaf-tips, one cover with
a restored chip the inside of the rim and a hairline crack next to it, the other in two pieces and repaired
The Meissen Example-- 31⁄4 in. (8.3 cm.) wide, 27⁄8 in. (7.4 cm.) high; the possibly matched cover with a shallow chip to the inner flange (not visible when placed); the rim of the box with two flat spots and a chip that all appear to be in the making (the chip glazed over)
The Continental Example-- 31⁄2 in. (8.9 cm.) wide, 3 in. (7.7 cm.) high; areas of overpaint to tip of the rosebud on the lid, a tiny crack around the base of the rosebud and restoration to the small branch near the stem's base
