The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Some light wear and scratches to the enamel and minor flaking; most of the birds with restored or replaced tails, one with its tail lacking; small restorations to most of their beaks; a few of the fledglings with restoration; typical chips and losses to the applied mossy frit and feather nesting materials; one cracked across the base and basket, another with overpaint to the basket; dimensions below:
