The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The robe with brilliant colored silks and bright metallic threads. Some areas of fraying to the embroidered borders, and small tears to the silk in scattered areas. Slight separation along seam lines. There is discoloration and soiling to the sleeves and neckline as to be expected. Some watermarks particularly to the sleeves and underarms.
