The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The robe with minor fraying and loose threads along the embroidered decoration. The collar and shoulders with fading, most likely from sun or light. Minor tears along the sides and to the seam lines at the hems. The sleevebands with bleeding to the blue pigments in silk threads. Light soiling and discoloration scattered. The neckline with more apparent wear as to be expected. Lacking one later metal button closure.
