The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Scattered minor spot staining, creasing, shattering and losses to the ground; the areas of rubbing and losses to the paint, particularly to the central jardinière; the ends with some fraying; laid down (stabilized) on later silk backing.
