The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each in overall good condition; slightly differing in height; with minor surface wear and scratches as to be expected; light rubbing and losses to the enameled decoration; some scattered crazing; some with fritting and minor losses to the edges; scattered areas of restoration and touch-ups to the extremities and high points; Zhang Guolao with restoration to the top of his fish drum; the Lü Dongbin figure in harlequin dress with the top of his hat restored; the Han Xiangzi figure in blue with scattered touch-ups, his proper left hand replaced; presents well as a group.
