The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Both:
- expected scattered chips and pits
- small hole drilled into the base of each
- later markings to surface denoting the part numbers
First:
- chipping to the enamel surrounding one antler and ear
- cracks to the enamel on the lowered back leg
Second:
- light chipping to enamel at attachment of both antlers
- chips to enamel at edge of tail
