The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Interior:
- a 1 x 1 1/2 in. approximate area of overpainting on the sloping interior wall
- one overpainted rim chip with associated later surface coating
Underside:
- minute restored chip on the underside of the rim
- one leg re-stuck
- expected glaze wear to the undersides of the feet
- one testing drill hole
