The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.
The persimmon ground piece in overall good condition with minimal wear to the velvet. Some light soiling scattered. There is separation between the panels and the linen lining. 713⁄4 in. (182.2 cm) long, 691⁄2 in. (176.5 cm) wide.
The blue ground piece of irregular shape, with one joined panel end shorter. The coral silk lining is separating, with fraying to the edges and some separating at the seams. With several metal hooks to reverse from prior mounting. 671⁄4 in. (170.8 cm) long, 461⁄2 in. (118 cm) wide.
The fragment of irregular shape, possibly shortened for a seat cover. 203⁄4 in. long, 23 in. wide.
