The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Several small repairs to tears and a few patch repairs (longest 4 in. approx.). There are additional small holes and a few areas of burn-damage. Light discoloration and staining throughout. Rubbing to the yellow ground where the silk is worn. The edge with some minor fraying. The burgundy lining with areas of discoloration or fading. Minor tears and pinhead holes.
