The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The marble top with some light scratches, and some marks and irregularly faded area along edge in one area. Iron cross bars to underside of top with some rusting. Patinated bronze with some rubbing and surface dirt; not extensive. Ormolu with some rubbing, oxidation and surface dirt; rubbing most extensive to bust capitals and to feet. Some bending to X-form side stretchers; one side with particularly pronounced bending and a restored break to one ormolu section where it meets the central rosette and one closer to the leg, now reinforced on reverse.
