The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The coverlet later fashioned as a bed spread, with padding and lining in checkered silk and notched corners to accommodate furniture architecture. There are scattered areas of discoloration and staining. A few patch repairs. Fraying and loose silk and metallic threads overall. In a well conserved condition and ready to place.
