The three joined panels are most likely part of a woman's dress with evidence of an old hem at once edge; an irregular top border with a portion removed; elements pieced. Overall with considerable staining and fading to two panels. The bottom edge is slightly shattered and frayed. There is some fraying to the top edges and light wear to the brocade decoration.
