The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with Japan paper. Artist's tack-hole to the center upper edge. Light-stained. Few scattered pinpoints of foxing. Small circular stain to the right woman's hair. No tears or restorations detected. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
