Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Drilled at the bases; a few scattered minor frits and shallow chips; not examined out of the fitments; one vase with a repaired demilune section at the rim, the other with a vertical line near the rim at the reverse, possibly in the making; otherwise in good condition; please note that Christie's does not guarantee the working order of lighting or the condition of shades. Sotheby's recorded the vases having pseudo-Chinese seal marks and painted Gien 56 marks, but the vases have since been mounted as lamps and the marks are no longer visible.
131⁄2 in. (34.3 cm.) high, the vases 263⁄4 in. (68 cm.) high, including the fitments
