The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The reverse of each with old, now inactive woodworm, not extensive. Each frame with some rubbing, cracking, flaking and chips to gesso. The decoration and gilding with some rubbing and small losses, now with some small refreshed areas. The reverse of each with some small losses to timber, not visible when hung. With some small losses to the carving at the edges of the frames, not extensive. The verre eglomisé with some small losses and some minor flaking, but generally good condition. The mirror plates with some minor foxing and very small losses to silver. The later mirror with some scattered light surface abrasions and some small nicks to edges, likely purposefully distressed. The sides with some previous hanging holes. Ready to hang.
