The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The first pair with wear and losses to embroidered decoration. Each pillow face is pieced. Tarnish to the metallic thread. Variation in metallic tassels between the two cushions. The cream silk pair in fragile condition with shattering to silk ground; splits and losses to both, back with a later merlot-colored velvet.
