The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The pietre dura with nautral inclusions. Each with some very minor surface scratching. Each frame with rubbing, revealing bole and with some surface cracking. With some small chips to carving and some surface dirt buildup. The frames with some areas of retouching to the gilding. The reverse of each frame with an inventory sticker and framer's label. Not examined out of frames. Some of the those in the smallest frames are somewhat disloged in areas resulting in a small gap between the plaque and the frame.

The frames with acanthi measure 10 in. x 10 in.
The frames with leaves measure 9¹⁄₂ in. x 9¹⁄₂ in.
