A pair of panels, circa 1945-1960

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Overall with some minor age discoloration, and snags as expected. The lamé fragile and with overall scattered losses to reverse. Each with an area of abrasion and gapping running the width of the lengths towards one end (where previously hemmed). One also with a hole approx. 3 in. long towards the same end. The other with a small patch of darker discoloration approx. 3 in. wide.
