The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition with light surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age and gentle use. The shade presents with mottled olive green tones with a border of emerald 'Turtle-Back' tiles. The glass presents with surface irregularities, minute inclusions, and scattered air bubbles inherent in the making. The glass with light surface scratches, minor wear, and dirt to recessed areas. Approximately ten glass tiles with cracks, stable. The base presents with a russet brown patina and very minor green and red undertones. The metal surfaces with light scratches, minor wear, abrasions, and scattered areas of light oxidation typical with aging of this material. One side of the body of the base with a minor bruise (approximately 1 in.). The base has been converted for electricity at an early point in the history of the piece. With a period socket and replaced modern internal components. With period pull chain. The three light cluster appears to be original with period socket shells and replaced internal components.
