The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition with light surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age and gentle use. The 'Turtle-Back' tiles present with a warm amber tone, complementing the similarly colored central Favrile glass shade, decorated with delicate green swirls. The glass presents with minute inclusions, scattered air bubbles, and minor surface irregularities inherent in the making. The central glass shade with light surface scratches, minor wear, and minor dirt to the surface. The bronze presents with a warm reddish brown patina and green overtones. The metal surfaces with minor wear to the patina, abrasions, and scattered areas of light oxidation, typical with aging of this material. The chains appear to be original and are with slightly more wear and abrasion from age and movement. The pole and ceiling canopy have been replaced and are well matched in patina. Presents well and ready for display.
